Emma Barnes is a driven and accomplished Chartered Accountant with 17 years of progressive leadership within financial services. Renowned for her ability to inspire teams and build strong professional relationships,
Emma has an outstanding track record in optimizing and streamlining financial and operational processes, underpinned by a positive work ethic, efficiency, and clear communication.
Most recently serving as Finance Director at Conquest Group, Emma led the finance, tax, treasury, risk, and investor relations teams, guiding the company through substantial growth. She has designed and managed key finance and compliance processes across multiple European jurisdictions, implemented advanced ERP systems, and played a key role in fund valuation and investor reporting.
Prior to this, Emma as Head of Finance at Elkstone Private Advisors Limited, a leading Irish multi-family office and alternative investment specialist. Elkstone’s client base benefits from access to bespoke family office services, emphasizing private equity, real estate, and alternative assets. Emma’s broad remit in a smaller boutique firm gave her significant exposure to all aspects of company operations, regulatory returns, and strategic decision-making, supporting both the growth of the business and its reputation as Ireland’s foremost private market and family office provider.
Her earlier career includes roles at HSBC Securities Services, Google, National Australia Bank, and Deloitte, where she managed complex reporting, project management, audit, and transformation projects for high-profile clients. Emma holds a BComm from University College Dublin and is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, recognized for her analytical rigor, interpersonal skills, and project leadership. This blend of technical proficiency, strategic insight, and leadership acumen positions her as a trusted partner in driving financial performance and business growth.
